Oh really mate ?????
Not on tonight's perfomance you won't. :
I'd be trying him now to break this partnership, batsmen want to smash him, might mis hit one, they are playing the current bowlers with ease and scoring runsMousey;311421 said:Yeah, but he can get very expensive. I don't think that's a risk we should take now. Maybe after the SAffers lose another wicket.
Mousey;311612 said:Hmmm... well I guess I have egg on my face then. I'm still gonna stick with my 4-1 tip though and say we'll win the next 4. @|
I must hand it to the SAffers. Very well batted, cool heads all round, except for Morkel but they, the Aussies, and even I, were expecting that.
Jolldo, mate, you right. Hilfenhaus sucks at bowling at the death.
Biggie;311641 said:Whilst disappointed in the loss, there was some good signs there I thought.
Morkel was sensational late.
We will bounce back and win in Tasmania. @|

Out: White, Hopes
In: Warner, Harris/Hauritz
White is a sepcialist batsman at number 7 ?
Hopes is not a good enough 4th bowling option
Warner
Marsh
Ponting
D.Hussey
Clarke
M.Hussey
Haddin
Bracken
Harris/Hauritz
Hilfenhaus
Tait
White batted no6, you are putting Hussey at 6, whats the difference other than White is a more capable sloggerDJ Hussey;311654 said:For the next match

That's what I was thinking.Ripping-LegBreak;311677 said:Why are all Aussies overhyping Warner, From what i've seen He's Basically a Club Slogger who hits everything in the legside. He is clearly not ready for ODI's.
mmmfmr_13;311474 said:WOW! Albie Morkel, you are amazing.
grapedo;311642 said:What did you think the good signs were ?
David Warner will play his first one-day international on Sunday after being picked to replace Micheal Clarke, who was ruled out of the South Africa series with a thumb injury. Warner starred with a breathtaking 89 in the opening Twenty20 and was kept as cover for Clarke before being sent home to Sydney on Thursday when the vice-captain appeared to recover from a problem sustained during the Perth Test.
Jolldo87;311491 said:Hilfenhaus is one of the worst death bowlers in Australia. He can't execute a yorker at all. It'd actually ridiculous that he's bowling at the death for Australia.
I can't wait until Johnson is back. No more of that rubbish.
He did the same thing earlier in the season costing Tassie the match.
Pathetic.

It was a good game for south africa and this should give them confidence for the following matches, I think South Africa should drop Van Jarsweld he scored 4 and he dropped a couple of catches, And does anyone know why Ntini never played?
a for effort;311500 said:Wasn't exactly well backed by his fielders though. Tait's effort at short fine could have easily been the difference, and Brackens fielding in the second-last over was cringeworthy.
Biggie;311771 said:Bracken, Tait, Marsh & David Hussey. All played well.
You scrapped in for the win, Morkel was just unstoppable.
The bowlers will regroup and not make the same mistake again. @|
To those who want Warner, not yet thanks, he needs to develop a defensive side.
grapedo;311796 said:South Africa deserved the win IMO.
They bowled well as a unit something which Australia didn't do and they had partnerships.
With 10 overs to go they needed 66 to win and they were 3 wickets down then they had the miniature collpase
Will be interesting to see what happens they are going to replace Hopes with Hauritz which is a bad move IMO as Hopes is one of the better bowlers he just had a bad night and Hauritz will provide another target.
So every bowler in the Australian team will be targetted bar Bracken.
fmr_13;311878 said:Several points from me on the game the other night.
1. WOW. Albie Morkel.
2. Australia's bowlers really don't look like taking wickets majority of the time.
3. Kallis should be very annoyed with himself after that disgusting dismissal. Though, if batsman didn't make mistakes there would be no point in playing!
- Warner has been called up to replace Clarke.. but i haven't heard anything about Mitchell Johnson ?
Is he playing?

Word is that all players will be released for the Prelim final anyway, as for the final, we played our worst ever game and lost by 2 runsJolldo87;311951 said:Mitch is resting for the first two games.
Please drop Hussey and White. It's Victoria's only chance.
