dont stress when white stuff started in premier cricket, same kinda situation, colour clothing slowly came in and some clubs still had orders going through! no 1 at my club had a problem seeing it really! and it eventually goes green in the 40th over lol

we use the shirts for training and have been using whit balls at the same time...........not that bad if you watch the ball which is what batsmen should be concentrating on...........gee i should become a coach.......

the reason i have been demoted.......ill be up the top in the 2's and get a roll.......

they have put on good partnerships why change.......and sheeds says every 1 has to be able to hold a bat so me in at 8 doesnt faze me..........

I wouldn't exactly call Pat Gallivan a bowler. I'd say he is a batsmen that bowls a bit. Thus the reason for him making 85 in the first 2 rounds and only bowling 4 overs.
And Clemson won Williamstown's 1st XI batting average last year so can't see too much wrong with the opening pair at the moment mate.

Clemson probably won the batting averages due to the number of not outs he had last season.

In his VCA career, I reckon he struggled to bat higher than No. 8.

Some difference between VCA 1s and subbies champ.

The big units's technique is solid and he has faced much faster than he will ever see in Subbies, its a no brainer really. Couple of useful bats in the willi first XI last year, so not sure what you were getting at with your submission, unless it was just another completely misguided post, in which case, well done, you nailed it.

The big units's technique is solid and he has faced much faster than he will ever see in Subbies, its a no brainer really. I've seen enough VCA 1st XI cricket to know that there is a difference.

Then again, the decision to abandon covers may see that difference shrink considerably.

Well the reason he was not out is because they couldn't get him out. He did beat Sheedy and Drain for the batting average so he can't be too bad.

As for him opening now, it didn't stop him getting 49 and putting on 96 with the other bowler Pat Gallivan who got 63.
