You mean the UK does not stock walnuts Jessica. I expect if we export them to Germany we'd most probably also do to the UK with the new trade deal between our two nations. How about almonds which are also very healthy?Are they available here?

Is everyone here tuned into the Black Friday sales?
They've started early in Perth this year so I went to the "Good Guys" and splurged on a new tablet and stick broom. I've three quarters set both up already being familiar with those things.
The techology is roaring ahead still so I stick to brands and operating systems I know.
These sales are terrific and worth a splurge now and then.

Our countries have come a long way since WW2, we don't need anymore delusional fanatics spoiling peace amongst our countries.
I'm not sure when they start here, I'll certainly be looking for a bargain though if I haven't missed out!

However, keeping an eye on it, I saw the sales here start early and go on about a week. Just google 'black friday sales near me'. Something like that. As a rough guess I got about a third off the listed prices, which may have been inflated weeks before? Our supermarkets in Oz are rife with such deceit but I did get some good deals. Not so much deceit in the IT n household appliances shops it seems to me.
.I wall mounted the recharging system for my new low slung cordless floor vacuum today and all's honky dory. 'Drill baby drill' channelling Trump. Blooming Lithium batteries are all about my home now, and occassionally I forget to stop them charging. Heaps of cheap ones over here are exploding often causing home fires and worse.

Sometimes I like to express some emotion by an icon rather than words. Not always. I feel an icon can often express better and more succinctly than words. And even be deliberately ambiguous.
When teaching I loved drawing pictures with lots of colours on my black and white boards. I taught the "kinkiness" of the graphs of polynomial functions with slender, smooth and colourful curves, for contrast to other powered polynomials, of course. Go Pollys. For my Seniors I explained with a deliberate straight face the more powerful a polynomial function, the more kinkiness it could have and all the possible roots it could have. I expected and ignored the sniggers and chuckles that followed but knew the general rule had sunken in, even snippets in year books..
They were shocked to attention the day I told them I was going to teach them all about "Sets".
Language and communication is more than just words. It takes many forms and styles. Body and facial expressions, the visual in many ways, the voice including its tone, eye contact, ... like even the way one dresses and appears, .... smell, ... status, ... gold chains, .. MAGA hat, ...
More importantly, I keep in touch regularly with my two east state wonderful daughters by Messenger with many an icon.
