dont think he coached lavo last year and you are right he wont make the difference in playing but may have some likely players coming on board this year hence hes appointment and why are lavo in trouble

Why would you come on here and write about stuff you clearly dont know.

Maybe i am wrong?? Did he coach us last year, well there you go. For someone who came back after not playing for a few years and had work commiments it was a strange move to appoint him coach then.
You goose fair dinkum.
Handful of games to get him going again and then appointed coach this year. Yes he is an old timer, but very well liked man who you never know might bring some names to the club.
I must be in dream land because I thought Lavo made the granny the year before last? They loose 2 gun bowlers and opening bat, struggle yes and now they are in trouble!
A few good players signed up next year should be interesting.
Interesting to note we have the best young player in the comp, no doubt about it. 3rd in the b&f so i hear, and yet missed 2 or 3 games.

G'day guys, was just wondering if anyone can shed some light on the ability of Darren Jury from Grand United?
We're speaking to him at the moment, seems unhappy at Grand United. We are just a bit worried whether he would be able to perform at a higher level?

I heard he only plays because he is goods mates with Frewy..
He gets under teams guards a bit as they all worry about Chugg, D Commo, Frew and Maddern.
I think he only plays after xmas these days but always seems to get the runs in the bigger games..
I know a few of his mates, and they say he doesnt care to much about cricket.

Im not 100% sure how the voting works, i suspect a 3,2,1 system?

I see he didnt play the last 2 games, against bottom of the ladder Rams and G.U. Am I wrong to suggest he may well have won? Seeing as though he bludgneded the vales all around the park, he would have made like work of Rams attack surely. Whos to know though.
Interesting also, in the game against Wyndamvale, he only received 1 vote in Laverton B&F, the umpires stuffed up the votes, they wouldnt have wanted to do this in the league B&F!!

Im interested to know who ANA have signed up, wasnt there a rumour they had one of Wills mate?

Rumour has it a few of GU boys arnt entirely happy.

You hear the same rumors every year, yet all the same players are there. I will believe it when I see it.

X melton player offered assistant playing coach role, obviously good mates with Wills, at this stage looks like comming across, though long time before preseason starts, so l guess till we see him on the track, only speculation at this stage. Will open bat and bowl first change if he comes down. Couple of losses due to retirement and ill health will test us in the comming season, though good for the couple of under 17 kids that got a taste of A turf last season....

any other news around the clubs?

Will the competition be adding any more sides to the A Turf??
Interseting to see who Willi Imps employ? heard Hilton will once again be offered some coin from VTCA clubs.. Must be loyal to the imps which is good to see.
Who will coach Digman?
GU on the market for a new coach also apparently.
Hopefully a few new coaching appointments for a few sides might see some better players in the comp also

Ha Ha.. Your kidding yourself, your obivously born in 1965 and played in the chrushes at some stage so you have soft spot for them, because an all star game between the 2 comps was to be played, the Willi comp would win outright in a day!

Re: Williamstown and District Cricket Association (WADCA)

i dont think that the competitions would be that different in ability, maybe williamstown would win but i dont think they would win outrite in a day, thats a bit harsh
