The Best side in the WADCA are better than the best from the churches. How many players that played in the GF in the churches would get into the GF teams from the WADCA? Not too many, if any at all.

Yeah, i heard 2 weeks ago that Grand United had picked up 2 batsmen from Yarraville in the VTCA, apparently both to fill coaching positions!
It appears that all in the Willi comp are playing for 2nd prize yet again!

I heard the same as Go Bulls.. Were very close but failed at the last hurdle.. also heard they have batsmen from Yarraville club heading their way..
the recruit pretty well.. they only get 1 every 2 years, but there usually quality players.
still think they need another bowler!

After serving his suspension of 6 matches John Taylor stood out the rest of last season, he has signed for this season with Airport West who have been promoted to Senior Division VTCA. Not sure about Deano, has been mentioned also in romours at Sunshinne Druids, his old club, however not sure he would leave the Clubbers after working so hard to establish himself.

Are you talking about his fat pie munching brother Danny?? He would only play seconds any where he went. Not enough room in the fatory cap for him to play ones. Petrolli is signed at Albion

Being a bit harsh on Danny there.. Its easy for people to criticise, regardless of the standard of cricket these days, he has still accomplished A grade cricket in the Subbies and the VTCA. Just because he eats lots of pies doesnt mean he cant play cricket..

I agree Willi, that is very harsh on Daniel.
Besides he doesn't even like pies that much, he much prefers Sausage Rolls,
Hot Dogs,Dim Sims and Pizzas all at a single sitting!
Not to mention his fondness for that amber fizzy stuff he pours copious amounts of down that gullett of his every weekend! ;) :p
