Scrumpy, does this opening bowler need to be able to drink piss with Pug after the game as well as bowl heat?

If you are exposing a young Aussie tearaway to that kind of consumption, your boys will only get half a season out of him! Better off with an old seamer who can handle pints of mans with the seasoned fishermen. Suits the wicket anyway!

I was startin to get a bit worried about you Tom,where you been hiding???? You didnt come down and spend xmas at weapons house did ya????:D

Jobs right Boof, dont worry about me. Dipped out on an invite to the Weapons family Christmas, maybe next year.

Had to be contented with a few weeks on the South Coast. You ever played Narooma?

Is it a Devon side?

I do know one young bloke heading over there who can bowl a bit, played a bit in Willi firsts but mostly in the twos. Although I think he is going to London.

It is a Devon side yes, about 15 minutes away from brixham.

Well ask him if he's interested and i can put him onto them, they're offering a decent package i think so it would be worthwhile.

Does he play for willy now? How old is he?

Well of course nothing beats RWG but yeah Narooma is a great course, a couple of holes you play right across the ocean, so plenty of balls in the drink. Lots of hills, no walking it, carts all the way.

Clubhouse has 270degree views over the pacific. Great spot, just a long bloody way from Melbourne.

GU vs COLTS - GU will have a very young side.. few players out! close one!
ANA vs ND - Digman will win Outright! maybe first day if they bowl first.
HC vs GELL - Gelly bellys easy..
IMPS vs LAV - Huge game.. whoever bats first will win.. Maybe Imps..
WYND vs WEST - Vales for another outright up at no mans land!

Tips for week 2.

Gu to beat colts comfortably.

Digman outright.

Gellibrand outright.

Lavo comfortably over the wimps.

And the shock .West to beat Wyndhamvale at Dog Pooh Park.

Re: Williamstown and District Cricket Association (WADCA)

Few big results on the weekend..

Massive chase by the Imps.. Hinton another big score!! Cashed up Lavo side went down again.. With all the top sides still to play they have no chance u would think.

Gellbranders nearly ended up losing outright!!

Digman failed in the outright, but only needed the 6 points anyway!

GU back in the 4.. only have to keep winning to make the finals now..

Is the 4 set now??

I predicted Imps at the start of the year to be the big improvers! Finals is all about runs.. And imps have the batting side to make plenty!!

Huge game for the Lavo boys this week against Wyndhamvale.Lose and they're gone.

This forum has gone extremely quiet since they started losing.

The rest of the games look like they should go to form.

Some good games on the w/e..
GELLI vs ND.. would think ND will get the points here
GU vs WEST.. the WEST youngsters to comfortably cause a massive upset here
ANA vs IMPS.. IMPS too strong and will push hard for the outright
COLTS vs HC.. COLTS to beat HC but look for a bit of fight from HC
WYND vs LAVO.. LAVO to win in the upset of the season
