Yeah when I faced him he played for West Newport, he was lightening quick.
I think he is a money chaser not a clubmen....

What l know off, he has played previously for Altona North,Yarraville Subbies, Flemington, didnt know about West Newport. looks like half a dozen clubs in a short time.

Yeah that's right I new he was at Altona North because I know the new coach at Willi Colts Hanni Harb, he used to play there with him.

Have you been to training yet? Hows the numbers looking at Digman? Noticed your first didnt make the finals last year, usually you guys are right in the mix each year.

Yeah that's right, we got beaten by Willi Colts. We made 315 dec......
They got up and won, Mick Callus & Hanni Harb put on a rediculous 150 run partnership. Hanni made a ton and Mick got 60 odd. Without them last year they would have been *******.....

The numbers are looking ok about 20 - 25.....

Mick Callus has gone to coach Congs, do rate him as a player?
I've heard he will dominate in that comp...

Ive only played against him once and he made a few going by memory. Think he will dominate with the bat in the churches, especially if churches dont get their turf comp going this season & revert back to matting.

Our training numbers have been ok, ranging from 15 to 20. Half of them being the younger ones from u/17 & u/15. Should see a few more older guys this month...

Tim Hynes = Very correct bat, run maker....don't know if he is under 21 though.

Jacob " Snake" Willis = Played 1st at Willi Colts, wicket taker, not quick but always on a good length, gives you nothing, very consistent.

Nat Ward = Willi Colts Seconds - Opens the bowling, hits the deck hard but a strange action from memory.

Out of all the A turf sides last year, which ones do you believe struggle for quality players?, baring Deerpark Ardeer & Newport Rams which really struggled.

Yes, good player. Hits the ball hard. Will make runs on the flat tracks in the U/21 competition.

You sound like you have played with him????
Who do you play for?

Re: Williamstown and District Cricket Association (WADCA)

Tim Hynes has an A-Turf Hundred, so would do well in the u21. Unfortunately is ineligible as he is over 21.

Who do you play for?

Haven't played with him, but coached against him when he was a junior and have seen him bat in A turf a couple of times.

I don't play in the comp. anymore, but used to play for Wyndham Vale.

I gather his playing also, you guys look like are going to give A turf a real good shake this year.

Re: Williamstown and District Cricket Association (WADCA)

I suspect the main contenders in A turf will again be G.U and Laverton like every year they dominate. Laverton has a good bunch of young kids coming up through the ranks such as Bryan Lawry, Corey Allan and Luke Mitchell who i would think would make it into the A turf side this year.
