good century but ultimately fell at a bad time for india. dravid played well (in relation to how hes played at other times) but also fell at a bad time. i reackon gilchrist should hav kept thos pink glove probably have more grip in them, maybe he wont drop so many next time :D

It's the keepers job to try and put the batsmen off there game in which ever way they can.

Solid start lets hope india get loads of runs on the board and manage to get australia on the backfoot in a test for the first time in a very long time.

Ganguly was playing very well. It was a big wicket for australia. Now Yuvraj and Dhoni have to prove that they can play in these conditions. If we can get some decent contributions from them then India can overtake the lead.

Yuvraj goes cheaply again. I think with that wicket Australia will feel they won this session. If Australia dismiss Dhoni early they might get a sizable lead.

Harbhajan is giving good support. Very useful innings. I just hope that he can help Tendulkar get to 100 now and decrease the lead as much possible.

No nervous 90's for Tendulkar in 2008. He's scored a century in his first match of the year. Harbhajan has given good support at the other end. India are in a position to challenge Australia in this match thanks to this partnership.

Finally the masterblaster scored a century  :D Just 19 behind now. We should try to get a lead of 50 runs then India will be in commanding position.
50 for Harbhajan. Great support provided by him. The tail from both teams played a good part.

india showed a lot of ticker, which is good to know. its nice to see that they made the most of the batting paradise to build a small deficit. i was worried they would throw it all away but harbhajan made a good 50. the most pleasing thing about indias batting is that it wasnt slow. kept everyone interested. should be a good game and i want a solid innings from jaques

38th hunderd for tendulkar....what a great player..everyone thought he cant get more hundreds but finally he got it...i amvery happy for him

after yuvraj, dhoni and kumble got out so fast i thought australia will get big lead...but harbhajan played a nice innings...we got a very good lead and early wickets are important tomorrow because australian openers are in great form...i think we can chase score of 250.

good fightback by india. our batting lineup has played to their reputation but india still have some batting problems. dhoni and yuvraj need to improve a lot and soon. they have a poor record overseas. i think sehwag should come in to replace for yuvraj in next game. jaffer has failed along with them too. i think india would have struggled again if laxman did not make that hundred and give india a great start. dravid made some runs but he was in some trouble.

the lead of 69 will be very valuable if india can bowl well and the umpires do their job. india has bowled well in this series so i hope that continues tomorrow.

Come on india, not many teams have travelled to australia and still been in the game with 2 days left. Lets see a consistant performance and i can see a score of around 350 being needed to win which by no means will be easy.

Tendulkar didn't have any role in it. Harbhajan was the one who had an argument with Symonds. He was reported to the match refree and the hearing will take place after the match is over. He denied saying anything racist, but if the match referee finds him guilty, he could face a ban of two to four tests.

This is going to be a toughy for the match referee because as the game umpires didnt hear anything its a case of my word against yours. and you must say these are strong allegations to lay down to someone for it not to be true.

The match is most likely heading for a draw. India have a few problems with their batting but its very hard to get past their middle order, but it is possible. They will depend heavily on Laxman, Tendulkar and Ganguly as the others are out of sorts. Anyone of them goes cheaply and India will be under a lot of pressure.

You are right, India are reliant on them. But remember that there is three of them; if one fails, the other two will likely succeed.

You know dravid 'no run' (sorry i couldnt resist :laugh:) wont pose such a threat for australia. if he stays in then a win is almost going to be out of the question for india

that will be a big problems for india....opening is not so good....im sure that dravid will play 100 balls to make 10 runs again....the match is going for a draw...sachin and ganguly are in top form so if we get in trouble they will save the match..
