yeah he played ok.. not to bad for an old bloke prob the best i have seen him bat for sure... he had good support from one of our young juniors and some of the worst lbw's i have seen but you take the good with the bad

yeah he played ok.. not to bad for an old bloke prob the best i have seen him bat for sure... he had good support from one of our young juniors and some of the worst lbw's i have seen but you take the good with the bad

Darley footy club cored, aerated and watered the ground on Friday night but the pitch was ok. they stuck us in. we were 2 for 4. 4 for 50 with me and josh back in the shed. falks and paddy put on 100 and got 50 each. we got 180 and felt it was worth 240-250. turned up sunday and it looked like they'd run a tractor and mower over the ground. it was 40-50 runs quicker. just like in the 80s back at buninyong when we'd play naps at naps in b-grade and snigs would roll out the massey-ferguson (god bless him). capey went mad but got out caught in the slips off apples for 30. 8 for 80. tail wagged. all out 150. moorey 4 for. apples 3 for. me 2 for. swardsy 1 for. good win.

Naps fell one wicket short of outright against coronet. Rolled em for 78 in the first dig with ringin takin 4/30 from 11 and cordo 3/7 off 8. Then in the second dig the city batted one man down and got to 8/100 cordo again takin 3/11 off 9 overs. Naps need one wicket with 3 overs to go and a couple very close lbw turned down so very tense but ultimately pointless seeming as darley couldnt make 170.

So it comes down to the wire. Wendouree, Napoleons and Golden Point all playing for third fourth and fifth. One team will miss out...

Nothing wrong with him. Strained a driving shoulder muscle in combined game. Two weeks off and physio he is as good as gold. Darley didn't need to know that though did they?

so who do wendouree play? will it be more than likely a scrap between naps and point for the last spot

Wendouree will play darley in darley...lots of fond memories for them there..I'm not sure how it will work exactly but depending on the size of the victory but the naps v point game winner will most likely finish 3rd ahead of wendouree. If wendouree lose (doubtful) then both naps and point will go through...

not that i know of? got told to go back on zumper when i was out but could of said it to half there blokes as well i would be thinking.

if you take to heart what is said on an online forum there is something wrong.


and may i say the spread was the best i can remember from cricket. i think all home teams should supply the spread

and may i say the spread was the best i can remember from cricket. i think all home teams should supply the spread

I can fill in on the Steve Nicko incident. He played a Ballarat game with him during the year and was just asking him how he hit them cause he thought they were on talking terms, the fact that he just ignored shows a bit of arrogance on his side. there was no chesting there. Im guessing your mate wrighty took it the wrong way. The majority of the mountie boys are pretty placid blokes.

I see the golden boy failed again. Has his hot streak come to an end or is he saving himself for finals? Big game this week too. Naps and Wendouree win it knocks out u guys.

Although he'd be dirty he missed out it may have been a blessing in disguise. It gave a couple of other blokes some quality time in the middle.

I would pay money to see that. Watched about 5 Waubra games last year and definitely didn't get my money's worth!!!
