Plenty more where that came from, perhaps we could discuss these over a semi final appearance.....

Yes drumsticks, Unless the world ends in the next 2 weeks(mount clear losing/choking 3 in a row) I think you will definately get your chance to show Stevo and his young guns some of your sensational quotes during the semi! That quote was a pearler, I look forward too many more from the bantam weight.

Well, the country week side is on a roll, looks like Dash/Hammer and the players are delivering, knocking over Mornington today, good result!

Wow thats great news, Haven't played country week in years, personal feeling was it didnt have the prestige it used to. Its great to hear the boys are enjoying some success and maybe getting the BCA back to the standard it deserves.

Just to correct you there mate, Mt Clear wont be 'choking' 3 in a row, the game on the weekend was an absolute ball tearer, its the reason I play cricket, momentum changed half a dozen times throughout the match. The mounties welcomed back blakey and kentish and were at full strength for the first time since before xmas. Give them a solid game against the combine this weekend and we are set for a cracking finals series.

I'm probably the most superstitious player in the comp, Cobber.

You know how it is. Thigh pad on first, then left pad, then right pad, then box, then left glove, then right glove, sh*t I forgot my inners, right glove off, left glove off, left inner on, right inner on, left glove on, right glove on....etc....

So I wouldn't like to jinx myself. I hope we beat Naps and therefore I hope we play finals.

hey 'sleeper', i was speaking to a couple of the coro lads monday nite & they were saying that thommo from naps bowled with some serious heat & probably beat the bat 40 times throughout the day. i know he hasnt taken the wickets he usually does this season, but they were mighty impressed with him. any truth?

Mate at naps we reckon that tommo must have raped a black cat during the off season. He has been bowling quicker than anyone else ive seen and is that deadly accurate...just no luck wat so ever.

Between him and myself we have had more catches go down than we have wickets...mostly in the slips..he nearly killed uljanic on the weekend...uljanic with no helmet, was saved by the top of the handle on a ball that was eye height...would not have been pretty..ive played with tommo for years and dont think ive seen him bowling quicker and more accurate.

yeah saw first hand Corra's 2nd innings on Sunday and between Thommo, Ash Ringin, Trav Faulkhead and Cordo there wasn't much reprrieve for the Corra bats. out of 40 odd overs reckon there were probably only 1/2 dozen or so bad balls and sprouler got a wicket off one of those............. Admittedly Corra were only looking to survive but the bolwing looked pretty impressive to me. And with C.Walter in form adding some backbone to that middle order for young guns Rowdy, Banners and Faulkhead to bat around not too sure that StevieO and his boys will have everything their own way. totally biased I know but.....................

Just hire out Micky Blue Eyes Steggles with Hugh Grant. i think they pretty much cover what you need to do there......... worst movie ever but once I started watching I couldn't look away............ screw you for judging me!!!!!!

gary davies posted markets for this round's matches and has Point v Naps as $1.85 each of two. Cloud over Ash Ringin might swing things either way but expect the late money to come for Naps. From reading these pages seems like its an absolute love in lately at Point so being Valentines day tomorrow all the Point money will be spent on chocolates, flowers and candle lit dinners for each other..............

will leave them no hard earned for the punt..........

Good player frase - good bloke too - been a dominant force in Ferntree Gully cricket for a long time and regular contributor at country week. Good work by the Ballarat boys - maybe our competition isn't too bad after all!!

The way the ladder looks, seems like they need to make it four out of four to play in Final on Friday. If we lose to Geelong, they will go thru, and Bendigo play Ferntree Gully tomorrow. With the good old bonus points system, a win to Bendigo would probably see them go past Ballarat.

So, hopefully a win tomorrow and a guarenteed crack at the title. Not many would have predicted that 3 days ago. Some consistent and quality batting seems to have set them up on each of the days.

Yes well Naps V's Point is certainly the BCA's version of Friday night football this week. Its all setup for a big game on the best ground and well then I spose Don thinks he's the best umpire otherwise why else would he umipre his own team.

Naps & point boys will also be hoping the Devils can bring home the bacon to save either from slipping out but that is unlikely with the target heads surely to grab the points and 4th spot here.

Other games seem merely insignificant although a miracle win by ball-redan over their 2006/07 bunnies Mt Clear could see East snag top spot. Although I think its a toss of the coin this year and rain will be the only advantage of top spot.
