I know I am going to be the only bloke on here that will put my balls on the line, but I am tipping Eltham this week in an upset. Eltham generally go alright against Lower, Not a massive target on a ground where you get value for shots. Skips in form (really, when is he not??) with someone else to fire!

And before I get drilled about me being from Eltham etc. If you look back through previous posts, I have tipped against Eltham on more than one occasion!

Ah me old mate tongs(or is it JB's Shadow), how wrong you are. Very nice taking the shield from you blokes. I suppose you tipped Septimus to win the cup by 10 lengths. What's your next big tip, Melbourne to win the flag in 2009.

Congrtulations TU, looking at results I see you may also be from Lower Eltham (although using big words like that you could not have hung around last night for the celebrations to long....)

To supporters from Eltham and Lower Eltham whilst I was not there (playing elsewhere) I heard that local cricket is alive and well at Eltham when the crowd of both sides (reported to be above 70 at the time) all stood as one and clapped Mark Minney off the ground after his 141. Good to see that clubs with such rivalry can still acknowledge class. From what Iheard it was a classic game and one of the better individual innings played that many had seen in years.

I was upset that I couldn't make it there on the weekend. From what I heard it was an absolute batting master class. He is a champion player and also a champion bloke. For his clubs sake, hopefully they can get a couple of blokes who can give him a chop out, because if he makes that many and still can't win, there are causes for concern.

Anyhow CC, were you put under the table again on Saturday Night, our aren't you still not piss fit as yet?

New here

I am unapologetic in my enjoyment of 5 wins out of 5, 2 outrights (what club could i come from?????).

To all, do not ignore the fact that substance is less attractive but more useful than flash. The word-fest, rhetoric, self justification smacks of a lacking confidnce, (you know who you are plural). Think about it if words, and plenty of fairly useless ones, are your means of self gratification in this forum then maybe you not quite thinking in the interest of all, or any.

Who is this clown? Like to know what your meaning of SELF GRATIFICATION is pal?

is G.Turner playing still??

There is a fair chance he will be unavailable this weekend due to a friends wedding. Don't take it as gospel, but I know he has a friends wedding in the next couple of weeks.

That innings was one of the best i have seen. Over the covers for six was amazing, but the ability to find fast runs freely was something special. So glad i was there to enjoy the majority of it, shattered that i missed some of it.
