mill park have no chance!!!!! who's gonna take the wickets?????????

HMMMM The wickets aint the problem I would be more worried about whos gunna get the runs. No J Atkins and the 3 wickets they have lost so far are the boys that have been making there runs.

I dont stutter any more thats to my friend Mas Cambios.

Your right who will get the wickets?????

Thomas
Morrissey
Murcott
Jones
Marshall
Stewart
Groom

There`s 7 guys to start with....Your playing a bowling team, all these guys have open bowled. It will be 1 after the other if Hurstbride get the runs they deserve the win simple as that champ.

Is that the problem down there playing to many bowlers? I know Stewart best bat at the club. Murcott and Groom potential but no runs yet. Thomas probably second leading run scorer but they are all allrounders maybe need to play more genuine batters not relying on allrounds to get the job done.

Re: DVCA Money Shield

I think M.Cocks from St.Francis is by a country mile! B.Gutterson would have to be around abouts as well and lets not forget Big Cricket 007:D

jones hasnt made a run or taken wickets, neither has marshall? why are they still in the side their twos seem to be going alright. is it the old 'its not what you know, its who you know' perhaps.

Re: DVCA Money Shield

How have the after noon teas been this year so far ?

yeah but how can jones make runs when i see he has been batting at the bottom of the order, they haven't been bowling many overs because there is so many options to choose from and like saterday they through the ball around alot they only had 23 overs to bowl and there was like five or six bowling changes so thats why they haven't been taking many wickets but they have still been getting there 1-2 wickets a game!!! still can't see them getting hursty out!

The arvo teas have been pretty sub standard overall. Not enough curries for my liking. The best one had to be when we humilated Mill Park because the game was well and truly over by afternoon tea on day one.
Can't wait to share arvo tea with the boys from the Franks. After their skipper has finished eating I'm sure we could all share that 1/2 a sandwich he will leave us.

In yours and the Franks defence specialist, I reckon everyone is forgetting 1 important thing in cricket, BOTH TEAMS HAVE TO PLAY ON THE SAME GROUND!!!!

People can slag off you guys playing at Sycamore and yeah its a small very quick ground but all the teams you have played get to bat and bowl on it as well!!!! Good luck this week, see ya at the college next round!!

Yep Monty will have the same pitch and ground to contend with and i know some of there guys wont be looking forward to bowling on that pitch!! In saying that Monty have 288 we are on 0 so id be happy to be in there position.

Good luck to you too champ see you soon :p

Mill Park will beat hursty, no Jimmy Atkins no Hursty it seems to be.

Hopefully its not a serious injury because he is a good cricketer and good bloke to play against

Has to be one of you.
It will be a good match chief your right.... how do you reckon each team will go??

In regard to what happens this weekend we'll all know Saturday night about who won and lost.

Don't try and deflect the attention away from a very ordinary effort by the Franks last week. If they are happy to concede 280 runs just to be able to blame the ground, the pitch, inferior captaincy, loud mouthed spin bowlers, Ben Cousins and George Bush, go right ahead.
Wouldn't be suprised if they are out of the 4 by Xmas.

Don't waste your big words on me my friend. I'm just a dumb old fast bowler that bowls very very fast.

Well that rules you out playing for College:eek:

Thommo 162 Soly saved the best for last by the look of things Murcott 46no batting at 10 Sth Morang need to have a look at them selfs 5/54 who do they think they are Mill Park ?

How right you are about saving the best for last. If I was captain he would be batting at 3 and would have made a ton.

Re: DVCA Money Shield

Mill Park will win the Grand Final hands down. Have a good mix of bowlers and batters, will beat hursty this week and start to string a few games together. Batsmen havent made a great deal of runs other then stewart but wait for the others to fire. Petersen to make runs very soon.
Mill Park Vs Montmerency GF

What a joke!!! You must be taking the piss??? Mill Park wont even make the finals let alone the GF, and if they did make the GF and play Monty they would get flogged. There side is filled with a bunch of very average allrounders that arent good enough as either a batsmen or a bowler.

who's punting?

greg duggin

Just havnt seen alot of spin bowling yet this year.... dont rate Duggins spin to highly.... John Groom has bowled really well at a higher level, just struggling to find his feet back on synthetic wickets.

Its round 5, ive already played Mill Park and my personal opinion is that all the other team ive played against will make finals before Mill Park. Nice bunch of guys but other teams are better.

Petersen has been due since he made 300 in Q grade. What makes you think he will start making them now??

The kid Larcom-Cooper from Mont isnt too bad. Spin bowling is a loose phrase. Should be a bloke who spins it not a bloke who just bowls slow darts. Steve Murcott bowled pretty well against us after his 1st over.

Heres a question for the punters.... who is Money Shields best current spin bowler??
A young kid at Morang bowls some decent leggies, im not to sure of his name though. Other than that i havnt seen many others of note. I would have said R.Wise if Macleod were still in Money.
