Tongue, Davidson, Parsons...

But you can never underestimate the qualities of a gun keeper can bring to the side...

Yes, exactly the reason why Hugh Cohen drove North Balwyn to the A Turf flag in 2009.

Male on is day, WOW! If Male stops drinking piss, he and baker will take Burwood to Dunstan.

Parsons is a gun.

Heathmont have ordinary chat.

Heathmont also like to have a slip and gully in the last few overs of one day games to a bloke on 130+.

All rounders?
Wouldn't put Davidson in the same category as Tongue and Parsons. The latter 2 have hit 300+ runs and 25+ wickets the last few years. (Parsons played 6 games last year).

The last 2 years Davidson has hit 141 and 215 runs respectively. Not good enough for an all rounder. IMO

Nice to see you can work My Cricket Fuzzy!

Davidson is a quality bowler. You are probably right that that runs total doesn't quite cut it with Tongue and Parsons.
However if he was a North Balwyn player, he would be there 2nd best bat and they would be talking him up as a Premiership winner with the bat!

Your never wrong TT. Davidson has been one of the best bowlers in the comp for the last few years. Also not wrong about the fact that if he was a NB player they would be worshiping him more than Allah.

Who do you think TT?

I thought Grubich from Glen Iris was a good seamer, also Steve Brown from Tooronga went very well.

Swifty always a class act to go with the others you mentioned.

How does Stewart at Hawthorn bowl?

Yes he does bowl... takes many wickets too (unsure how)

Doggy Fernon could be classed as the best all rounder - 500+ runs and takes 20 odd wickets. Plus he is a ripping bloke...

I hope people will play Doggies leg breaks better in Dunstan!

So that either means you have ditched Burwood after 1 season and are playing for a Dunstan side this season, or you will be returning to Melbourne next season?

Does that mean you think Burwood will get promoted? Or a different club next season?

im suprised that batsmen in the bottom order play for turn at all, usually its just see ball hit ball isnt it?

clearly this is coming from a seasoned and well drilled batsman....
