I have no doubt that Calnon is still the best. However, i take your point. If you picked a rep side now on the best players; Calnon would be in it. For the future, I have no doubt it would be Strods. So in other words, Calnon now and keeping his form and development, Strods very soon. For the record, there is a young keeper at StPcc who is now playing 2nds and who played u/15 rep cricket last season. Can bat also. A year or two away.

Point taken I guess we were picking the best side at the moment so the best players should be picked.

With the season only 3 training sessions away for most is there any last minute ins and outs for clubs in the BPCA/GCA?

As has been said in an earlier post, Muncey to Jan Juc in BPCA is the biggest pick up i reckon.

What about Mitch Troy. Will he be keeping for Nth Shore. Very good with gloves.

He's played at Jan Juc before think he's from there, good bowler would be the best in the BPCA there would be a couple ahead but will be handy pick up for them as they've stuggled bowling wise since joining the BPCA.

Easily the best cricketer in BPCA now i would say. Big loss to Grovey!

Dunno about that:rolleyes:

Muncey ain't that good I'd have Murray over him anyday.

Is that a weird s*xual fetish, or are you merely talking cricketing ability?

saw the big fella today actually.
doubt he'll keep, he'll bowl a mixture of medium pace and off-spin.
good gloveman though if he does happen to wear them.
everyone can keep to medium pace though, its up to the stumps where the best get seperated from the rest ;)
Strods to Thommy Tigers clearance pending

Do you know if there is anywhere you can get up dates online on clearances? I seen someone asked in an earlier post but it was too early.
