hang on just wait for me too laugh...actually no its not going too happen
all in all everyone has there own opinion, i just consider cricket with action is seeing some quality bats make some runs rather than seeing 25 wickets in a session and a half for 160 runs

hmmmmm
marshall and north shore combined..... 60 overs 160 runs and 25 wickets... averagin 2.5 runs and over
north geelong last saturday... 75 overs 215 and 6 wickets... averagin 2.8 an over...

how were we batting at snails pace.. if were averagin more than u schmo's an over.. and less wickets fell on the day...

mate marshall v north shore was embarassing to watch.. ok bad umpire decisons and all but still... its called playing across the line.. and thats what both sides did.. all day..

clearly its not division 1 mate so of course there's gonna be some pretty ordinary shot selections from time to time. I was there mate i know most batsmen went out to ordinary shots but i would've thought that 25 wickets in a day and a thrilling 2 wicket reverse outright win was pretty entertaining? espicially for a side thats struggled for the last couple of years. Just my opinion

i thought the number one thing i tought you was that you should never get out from a full toss! and to think your thought he'd bowl a bouncer to a number 11 bat when he was on a hat trick!

yerr orrite the game went down to the wire... and it was good to see u blokes win... but for u to report it to the whole big cricket world that it was an ordinary pitch was where this whole argument started from... if u hadnt of blaimed the wicket like u did, we would of replied with yes.. was an interesting result considering where the game was overnight the week before

never blamed the wicket just made a comment about it, they could've played on hard wicket and it would've produced the same result. at the end of the day it was just my opinion that it wasn't the best pitch id ever seen

brilliant win today by the mighty bears, gettin a reverse outright against north shore. marshall resumed today at 3-112 in pursuit of the seagulls 158. the bears got rolled for 140. north shores 2nd innings on a pretty ordinary deck saw them get bowled out for a paltry total of 64 leaving the bears with a chase of 83 for victory. doing things easily is a term not normally used for marshall and so it proved with the bears getting home with just 2 wickets in hand

looks like i said ordinary deck yeah i admit that but cant find the piece where i blamed the deck for any batsmens downfall? as for the argument that you bloke made 200 the day before, wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that you blokes may have a little bit of a stronger batting line up would it? your not the curator out at osborne park are you mate?

hahaha nahh mate... im only a young bloke.. who witnessed the game... and im just stikkin up for the 3 old blokes that put plenty of work into that wicket.. who immediately after the game hoped that the deck wouldnt get the blame for wat happend on day 2.. because clearly like u sed the deck didnt play a part in how the batsman were dismissed

i know mate obvioulsy the curators are volunteers so no disrespect to the old fella's. But like i said that game could've been played on a basketball court and you still would've seen the same ordinary shots

Re: Geelong Cricket Chat

yerpp point taken... and i agree... as for marshall.... is there any chance of them winning another game for the year now... or was that just a massive one off

I heard the council stuffed up the laying of the grass at Grinter reserve and may have to start again, this would keep the dinos off for a while.
