lookalike,Williams-pretty boy leg spinner,C Smart-Gun-Opening swing bowler
middle order bat played a few games with Canberra Comits,maybe even J Baker made over 800 runs last 3 years?

Turner signed sealed and delivered. Missed out on baker but has got a big name from qld following him over. Look out for the names Forrester and Ulman

Baker was never going - sh_t talkers - he comes to bp every week so we know him well

good stuff taylors sounds like some good pick ups...just a question...how many players do u muppets pay???
i thought clubs were only allowed to pay two????

Good to see that your burning your junior players coming through the club and blokes like mcmullin who has been around the club for years....

Does a home grown premiership taste better than a brought one?

I think you will find that the Lakes are full of juniors that have come through the grades, Lets have a look at the premiership sides and see how many lakes juniors played in them,

Just
A.Lee
S.Lee
Haigh
Harrison
Verdoorn
Arnold

Thats 10 junior players that have risen through the ranks to play in the premiership teams. There are only 4 that have not played the majority of their careers there, they are Markham (6 years) Cutajar (3 years) Thomas(2 years) McCaffery(1 Year)

I would think that it is a pretty good record, could not see anyone else beating that!!!!

I liked this forum better when Lakes boys were banned by their club now they are back all we here is how good they think they are. You have to remeber boys that you guys were shit for many years when clubs like Paccoe and Buckley were dominating and to a lesser extent us,

I agree, i dont see why TL need to go and spend so much $$$ when they are the best side in the comp. I guess it may back fire as its going to make every team wat to beat them even more

still never answerd my second question....how many players are getting paid and how many are you allowed to pay?

I'll throw another one at you though....whats goin to happen when all the money drys up, new recruits get better offers and when the Lee's all leave together?

Im not from TL but you would guess, Thomas, Lee, markham, Cutajar, turner, and know one will leave yarraville unless its for a good $. Who gives a ____ anyway lets just rally together and pump and watch them cry over there wasted money !

You would have to hate them, they have pulled your pants down on a number of occasions over the last couple of years. GF and SF.

Maybe if your side was not so vocal in what they have to say on the ground and played the game in the right spirit like Packo, Buckley and all the other sides in the comp the Lakes might give you a bit of respect. But as you want to carry on I guess they will continue to treat you at gladdy with the respect they deserve.

I see no other side in the comp has had any problems with the boys from LionHeart.

All I know is I am off to the Lakes this year for a bit of success in the lower grades!!!

We didnt dominate , we were just a power, finished top 2 4 years in a row, made 4 grand finals in 5 years but only won 1. if we could have won one more flag it wouldve have been a great period but abit disapointing

Taylors Lakes for me thanks poor average due to the fact that apart from 2 blokes they are a bunch of knobs who seem to think they are better than everyone else.
whilst most players play for the love of the club The lions play for the love of the coin if the money dried up tommorrow they might have 3 of their existing players still there.

At least I know our players play for the club as we only pay coach and assistant and both have given up far more lucrative offers suprsingly from Taylors

I can see how you would put us top 4 although i like us Im biased obviously we are a cocky bunch of pricks but surely kealba are above us and roxy and what is your problem with Campbellfield I find them to be great blokes in all grades

Now i know you are full of it, The Lakes have never even entertained talking to your coach, We do not and would not want him!!! We only want team players!!!

Also as for paying only 2 players that is a bunch of crap, People know who is getting coin at Gladdy, and you can not tell me that you are not paying Shep a penny??????

My vote is for Gladdy, No need to give a reason as everyone will most likely vote for them!!!!
