Would love to see Markham (GP) play on a real ground, playing at GP ground would have to give him a 150 to 200 run advantage over people playing on the bigger grounds. This is what makes him stand out! a 100 at GP would only be most likely at 60 at Kealba, Roxy, Sydenham, etc.
Shane Lee has made over 1000 runs in 2 seasons playing on the biggest ground, would love to know how many he would have made if he played at Gladdy every second game???
Batsmen are a dime a dozen! I would have shane lee any day!!!

Lets do a small trade period, who from another club would you like to have in your side and what from your team would you give up as a trade???

Apart from that I give me great pleasure to be able to announce that the deep fryer at the lakes will have to produce more Chico rolls of a Thursday night after the signing of Turner, Smart and another player from Yarraville Club just as players for the upcomming season!!!
The MidnightFryer is also proud to announce that a captain coach was also signed, unable to name him yet because he has not informed his club, but i can tell you all that it will cause shockwaves around the NWCA, that a player of his standard would even contemplate plying his trait in the NWCA.

No need to get upset old man, it is not money that attracts them to the lakes, it is the great bunch of blokes, best facilitys and the fantastic meals produced at 11pm of a Sat night!!!!
I know for a fact that Heath dose get paid!!!!!!!!!!

You are a goose if you think people play at lakes for love of the blokes I was at comp preso and your coach spent the whole night on his own real popular bloke his their for love of his team mates for sure.
You are right you have never tried to get Markham you have however thrown massive coin at Shep (who does not get paid one single dollar) and Telford who if was chasing a buck would be very well off at the Lakes.

Gee you are a great story teller, 1st off you could not have been at the Preso night for the whole time as our coach was only there for 15min due to another commitment!!! So sitting onhis own all night i think is another one of your storys!!!
2nd- Lakes have never offered Shep any money, and I mean never!!!! They have called him but players said they would walk out if he came!!! So another one of your storys!!
3rd I understand the club did talk to Wes only after he approached them!!!! But he did tell the boys a few home truths about Gladdy and I am sure they will come out on the field!!!

Packo will be as strong as ever and a bunch of good blokes as well and Roxy I hope continue to move forward!!! With a bit of luck Gladdy may miss out on the finals!!!

Very well said tubby Where you from fella?, gladdy, taylors leave it for the field and have a good go it it there.As for me i hope we can improve and challenge both your lists which are the best 2 in the league! Rivalry VERY HEALTHY but lets not make up stories and get too personal! I stay in touch with Weza and he was never going anywhere but Gladdy or Buckley. He did have a word to Thomas on the phone but i was lead to believe it was never going any further! Just a friendly discussion.
We missed out but we get Dean and maybe a secret or two up our sleeve!!!!!
