They are second already iirc. I think they'll be first if they win this test.

They were 2nd at the start of the series, however when India beat England 1nil India moved to number 2 pushing South Africa back to 3.

If South Africa win 3nil they move to 1, Australia to 2 and India to 3.

When was the last time Australia was NOT number 1 TEST playing nation???

Re: South Africa in Australia

What do you need to do to get an LBW these days?

That's the third time this match we should've had one.

Re: South Africa in Australia

YEAH SOUTH AFRICA ! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I can not believe it. Amla, Mckenzie and Smith dominated the days play with smith top scoring with 75 and Hauritz trapping him lbw.

Wow a new era has begun.

Re: South Africa in Australia

Grats to SAf on thier series win.

Deserve to win 3-0 IMO.

Bad luck to Watson however, will Hodge be recalled?

Probably not they will be looking for an allrounder I wouldn't be surpirsed if Cameron White gets the call up seen as the test is in sydney.

Re: South Africa in Australia

No allrounder thanks.

There isnt one of Test class in Australia at all. No point tryig to create one, it just doesnt work. Symo is our closest player to that, but he is carrying a knee problem.

They'll either go back to Hodge or bring in D.Hussey.

If Cameron White ever plays another test as anything other than a top 6 batsman then there is no hope for Australian spin bowling

I realise that.
I don't rate him as a bowler at all.
I just think the selecetors will play two spinners.

Don't rate Andrew McDonald?

He has very impressive stats in the Sheffield Shield this season.
