Yeah sorry just saw an oppurtunity and grabbed it...
Still think East are best side in comp with Mt Clear not too far behind.....all other sides seem to be fairly even with the exception of Nth and Brown Hill...Will be very interesting to see how the next 4 games unfold

i havent seen north play but i feel that there will be an upset on the cards and feel that mt clear will go in to the match way to cocky.

Ok a new topic.

If you had to pick one player from an opposition club to play for your team who would you choose and why.

Being a Coronet man. I think E. Johnson would be the best player for us as our bowling relies too much on Burnsy to carry to the load each week.

i would have to take someone like sam miller or josh white

if they are the top run scorers at 19 years old, means you will get another 15 years of 500+ runs each season

Ok a new topic.

If you had to pick one player from an opposition club to play for your team who would you choose and why.

Being a Coronet man. I think E. Johnson would be the best player for us as our bowling relies too much on Burnsy to carry to the load each week.

Coming from a club which doesnt have a frontline spinner I'd take Brendan Parker from Darley.

Probably the best one day spinner in the competition and he's a handy batsman as well. He's had a bit of leadership experience which would come in handy too.

being a naps man id have to say we'd take someone like sammy miller or skins or even someone like fletch. just someone who could make runs and make them in quick time. we sort of lack the big hitting power that teams like mt clear and wendouree use so effectively..

think we're pretty right with bowling stocks..

Naps over Wendouree (upset on the cards)
Mt Clear over Nth Ballarat (but not without a fight)
Darley over Coronet (just)

I'm with you Napisan, Johnson would slot into all 9 other teams nicely. There really isn't an attack in the comp with 2 genuinely exceptional quicks.
I know for us having Jarrod Allan with a shoulder injury preventing him from bowling we may be second to Wendouree (Johnson & Dipper) with the Allan brothers opening up. We'd have Johhno in a flash with maybe a Pyke or Joffa in form.
