You surely aren't talking about Chris Morris from Point are you? Sure he was a very handy bat about 15 years ago but he's well into his 40s now and helping us out in the 5ths when he's not down the beach.

I'd like to meet you one day Pidgeon. You are definitely one of the strangest, most out-of-touch people I've ever come across. I enjoy how you are obviously passionate about cricket but you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about......ever.

You remind me of that footage of little Johnny Howard trying to bowl a tennis ball with the Australian troops. You're keen to appear knowledgeable and your heart's in the right place but you're f**king hopeless. A cricket tragic.

As for the lion Show, id like to see what you would do if the opposition needed 8 an over off the last ten in a grand final. Oh thats right, you guys have not been in that position. Hopefully your recruiting is as good as you say and Darley will be challenging next year. Then we will see how your team takes pressure.

If playing with the fielders on the boundary wins the game and ultimately a grand final, then why not do it?! Would worry bout it Don...Bit of a difference between 1st place and 7th placed lions...

Still a long wait ahead of us to see if all this talk can be warranted from lions etc...

the premier league game that had over 650 runs scored in 100 overs didnt bring people through the gates so i doubt a ballarat game ever will

Most people are oblivious to the fact that there is cricket going on of a saturday arvo unless they have some connection to it. Put on some food, sell some drinks, get more than a half page coverage of sub-par reporting in the courier about the A-grade or something...

You cant complain about not having ppl playing cricket...there are more cricket players than there are footy players around..The grand final was amazing to play in because at times there were hundreds of people there and the atmosphere was brilliant!

I was referring to your potential bumper crowds. They wouldn't show up to watch because they'd be doing those other things. As far as we go, three days a week (training and playing) for us older blokes is enough and many of our younger fellas work part-time jobs so 20/20 is not an option for us. And lastly, you can't honestly suggest Mt Clear won the flag because they played in the 20/20 comp.

It is because there is no real promotion of the game. Many people find it boring. Kind of like watching a golf game. Boring and shit to watch but great to play. @|

It is because there is no real promotion of the game. Many people find it boring. Kind of like watching a golf game. Boring and shit to watch but great to play. @|
