Hey Bear

if your at training Thursday nite can you let the committee know there will be a few of the boys up there Saturday and Saturday nite, sticking around for an ale or 10 can they stock up on the Pure Blondes please.

Thank You.

No bottles allowed due to licensing regulations, :( however i'll make sure there is plenty to drink. ;)

I assume groomy is designated driver? Can you see if he can give me a lift home to Northcote please? What sort of car did he end up getting anyway?

Good luck, I'll see you back there. Been a while since a Money Shield home team victory at the Lakes, so I'll be hoping you guys get up.

Blokes talk up players like Motschall, Waddingham, Wynham as great batsman, they all bat 5 or lowerer, runs below number 4 in this grade are cheap runs, nothing against these players personally but below four are the cheap seats for so called great batsman........cherry pickers i believe they are called!

how can they be cheap runs? normally anyone batting below 5 has to bat with the tail which is shit cause we all know bowlers are a thick bunch.. they quite often have to face the second new ball which swings just as much as the first new ball and they have to do this while scoring quicker than a top 4 batsmen is required to score. i think anyone batting between 5 and 7 is one of the most important batting possitions in the team cause they determine if the team bats 80 overs or folds in a big heap... i think the middle order batsmen in money are a very umderestemated bunch. just my opinion though:)

Agreed Thommo should get over St. Francis, however this could be an early measuring stick for the Franks, a good indication to see their potential.

Again, College should be too strong for NEWCC.. which Mann is this back? I assume, Austin who played DVCA U/21's?

I wouldn't underestimate the Bats against MP. They could be the smokey this season,

Montmorency far too strong for B.United

Hursty/Morang will be tight. Also a good measuring stick for Morang, see if the pre-season has paid off.

And yes, Panton Hill to easily roll W'sea.

But then again, the one-dayers always throw up a suprise or two.

Looking forward to an interesting season.

i think franks will smash thommo, with no stewy and them batting down to 8

college to good for newcc (backing a college vs. franks final)

bats will beat mp by the length of the flemington straight, there has been alot of talk about mp they are very overated

monty

hursty easy, morang to forever be stuck in money

w'sea as a supprise win over panton hill, even with the loss of big bum duggin and the lewis they will get up to stick it up everyone

franks and college final is a big call
we dont have third division yet

Seeing as we've already had a bold GF prediction I thought y not get a few ladder predictions happening b4 round 1. I'll have a crack First...

Montmorency
Eltham College
St Francis
Thomastown
------------
Yarrambat
Panton Hill
North Eltham
Hurstbridge
Mill Park
Bundoora United
South Morang

Now your turn...surely you can better that effort ;)

Mont
Thommo
Mill Park
Yarrambat

College
Franks
Hurstbridge
Panton Hill
North eltham
Bundoora
Morang
Whittlesea

Mont undefeated straight back up
the next three could finish in any order

out of the four will be tight with the next four all as good as each other but off the pace of the top four.

bottom four will struggle to beat anybody above them but will pull out a couple of suprises as the season progresses

all in all very competitive season.

Points of interest:
How many runs does Wunhym get
Do college struggle without Duncan
Can Duggin replicate last season at his new club
Can all of Mill Parks recruits gel
How many balls will big Ronnie lose this year when batting

Small things amuse small minds... would you like me to congratulate you once again for knowing who I am??? How about you let Darren know who you are at training, and I'll give him a colouring book and a box of crayons to pass onto you so as you can keep your little mind occupied.

What would you like? I've got an old-school World Series Cricket coloring book (I'll only photocopy that one though... it's worth a bit apparently) with blokes like David Hookes, Dennis Lillee, Rod Marsh, Ian Chappell, etc. Or, I can pop down to Big W and get you a nice little Disney one if you like.

Now you have a big choice my friend (STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING, AND FOCUS)... who do you wanna colour in??? Hookesy, Bacchus, and Chappelli... or Peter Pan, Pinocchio, and the Little Mermaid???

Why do you even bother posting on here??? I don't think you have posted a single thing about cricket worth reading during the entire time you have been on here.

Mate, you remind me of those really dopey 'cool' kids that I went to high-school with. The ones who were dumb... so they just tried to annoy other people, and also look for petty laughs to try and make themselves feel better. How about you follow their lead, and 'drop-out' of this forum?

Get a life... seriously! You're nothing but a nuisance. I'm surprised 'Millsy' and 'Thommo' haven't told you to pull your head in and stop posting on here. You're achieving nothing with your dribble, apart from making Mill Park C.C look bloody stupid... which is a shame, because 99% of the lads (you're the minority) aren't bad blokes from what I've heard.
