Re: Cricket Albury/wodonga (caw)
F*#king BANG!!
excellent comeback there Bradsy!
Just wondering if this 'millions happy' is the same raiders player who is 4 foot nothing and cant hit the ball off the centre wicket when he bats?? at least tyson can smash the ball when he's out there.@| @|
Re: Cricket Albury/wodonga (caw)
open question to everyone... who are considered the best allrounders in the comp? i know spider and purt are up there.. who else fellas?
Re: Cricket Albury/wodonga (caw)
i wouldn't back the rangers to make the gf... they depend on too few to make the runs and take the wickets... and cracked in thier biggest game this year. dont count out new city or yack to play well in finals... both teams have some very handy players...
Re: Cricket Albury/wodonga (caw)
it was good to see belvoir beat the power after copping a flogging in the district finals last year... spiteri and co are doing a great job with the cattle they have.
wasn't there a rule back in abca where a team could only have one international? or am i...
Re: Cricket Albury/wodonga (caw)
chief... pull YOUR head in, dont come on here and slag off players who go out every week and have a crack. i'd like to think some of the top teams in district would be more than a match for some teams in provincial. as for hawk, he's sharp enough to make...
Re: Cricket Albury/wodonga (caw)
i will agree with that middo... provincial teams would be spending alot more.
a few clubs around are offering money based on performance from what i hear.. do you think there are any negatives to this middo? or anyone else?
Re: Cricket Albury/wodonga (caw)
i wouldn't even put east albury in that category... they haven't won anything for ten years. north have been the standout team for the past decade, hands down.
the one difference in the divisions is the depth, provincial teams have more of it... a few...
Re: Cricket Albury/wodonga (caw)
so, whats everyones thoughts on the positions of some teams so far?
in provincial everything seems to be going as expected... albury titans are a surprise though....
the district comp is very tight at the top end, the miners and demons playing some good...
Re: Cricket Albury/wodonga (caw)
good call kokodamidget... this bloke would want to be a star of provincial or he's got alot of apoligising to do.
nobody has the right to slag off blokes playing any comp or grade of cricket, pull your head in chief
Re: Cricket Albury/wodonga (caw)
Of the two teams picked for last sunday, only 3 of the 24 players picked were district players.. all in decent enough form too. its good to see the young colts having a win, hopefully the future of the comp can match it with the old blokes in the next match....
Re: Cricket Albury/wodonga (caw)
a very good point big guy, nobody should be whinging, www have done well to keep their club going... if it wasnt for a few key blokes they would've folded by now. they need to take the next step now and attract some fresh faces to the club to get back in the...
Re: Cricket Albury/wodonga (caw)
how does everyone think the weekends games are travelling? a tight contest up at the ranga shapes up to be a top game.. the rangers and kiewa locking horns in a good battle, does kiewa have the batsmen to make 200 plus?? belvior pulling themselves out of a tight...
Re: Cricket Albury/wodonga (caw)
and how do you know he's not happy where he is? your obviously not from the rangas as your name suggests cause everyone i've talked to from the dederang cricket club thinks he'll be staying all year and he's happy with club on a whole
Re: Cricket Albury/wodonga (caw)
i agree... its not good for the club in the long run. didn't there used to be a rule that a team could only have one import?
Re: Cricket Albury/wodonga (caw)
guessing your not a fan of the mighty yack? haha... the miners were stooged in the semi but yack showed why they were the top team all year with their win the the grand final
Re: Cricket Albury/wodonga (caw)
im with you train, josh will stay with the rangas... he has some good mates out there and seems to be enjoying himself. the only thing he needs to do is go to every training and apply himself. he has the talent to be one of the best bats in the comp@| @|
Re: Cricket Albury/wodonga (caw)
whats the news on pebo? i see he wasn't named for east albury this week? just looking at wodongas team... who's going to bowl all the overs??! they have alot of good bats coming up but with collishaw and keneddy missing, dont see much of an attack...
Re: Cricket Albury/wodonga (caw)
have talked to spiteri and he said alot will comedown to the young blokes in the team... mallichan, lee, chitty, sariman etc. nth will be strong, albury shouldn't be underestimated either, restall will lead from the front. it'll be a very tight competition...
